Labeling helps during the packing and unpacking processes, especially if you’re using traditional boxes that aren’t see-through.
You can label your boxes simply with a general description of what is in the box such as “kitchen” or “bedroom.” But there are a few other things you can take the time to write to simplify the unloading and unpacking. This will also help the mover.
In addition to writing what is in the box, it’s important to indicate where the box should go and even a name in case a box is left in the moving truck or is misplaced somehow. Numbering your boxes can also help for inventory purposes.
Put your labels on the sides of your boxes so even when they’re stacked, you are still able to see where they go and what’s inside. Also label boxes with fragile items.
